A West Kilbride pub has been recognised by the Good Beer Guide for the fourth year in a row.
Twa Dugs has been listed in the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) prestigious Good Beer Guide for 2023.
A representative from CAMRA said: “This popular local is well known for the quality of its beers consistently serving a changing selection of real ales to a discerning clientele.
“To be awarded a 4th listing in this prestigious publication is another feather in the cap for Licensee Debbie Riddex.”
Highlighting the best places in the UK for beer and ale, the guide is voted on by CAMRA members and difficult to get a place on.
The first step is the national beer scoring scheme which takes place consistently throughout the year to judge the quality of beer and ale in an establishment.
After this, local CAMRA members recommend pubs and bars with the highest scores for consideration.
Only three other pubs in North Ayrshire made it into next year’s Good Beer Guide, namely Frasers Bar in Millport, Paddle Steamer in Largs, and the Auld Brig in Irvine.
The Good Beer Guide now has an app where you can see and rate the quality of beers in pubs and bars across the UK.
